Though he had a talent for many sports from a young age, Jake Robertson quickly learned that talent was just the start. Moving to Africa when he was just 17 years old, he began training with Olympic Athletes and World Champions.
But his route to eventually taking part in some of the biggest sports championships in the world was far from smooth sailing. Come along to this webinar to hear Jake’s inspiring story, including:
- How he overcame the bullying he suffered in New Zealand from peers and teachers
- His courageous decision to move to Africa to pursue his dreams
- How his work ethic and determination helped him build consistency, believe in himself and achieve success at major sporting events
- How he continues to overcome challenges in the sport and give back to the community
If you’re looking to get motivated for the next RigRun event, Jake will give you an insight into the mindset required to achieve sporting excellence and stay focused on your fitness goal.
