When the starting pistol fires and the RigRun competition gets under way, the excitement of participating is often enough to motivate you for the first week or so.
But what about halfway through?
How do you keep working toward that finish line when you just don’t feel like it?
Sports Psychologist Don Vasey hosts this insightful webinar, examining how we can change our relationship with working out to develop regular and sustainable exercise routines. He’ll cover:
- The most common reasons we have for starting (and stopping) exercising
- Strategies for enhancing our adherence to a regular workout regimen
- Various psychological approaches we can use to motivate ourselves, including cognitive behaviour, decision-making, social support, and intrinsic approaches
Over the course of this fascinating session, you’ll learn how to work with your mind so that you can push yourself past boredom, apathy, depression or limiting beliefs and stay motivated.
