Reducing Emissions, One Prize at a Time
During the RigRun 2025 Cup, RigRun competitors helped drastically reduce Scope 3 emissions by eliminating 147.84 metric tons of CO₂ from client supply chains. They achieved this by logging activity minutes to earn ethically-sourced, recycled rewards certified by B Corp and GRS manufacturers, which are designed to motivate and inspire remote crews around the world.
This astonishing figure breaks down as follows:
- 2,504 rPET* Backpacks 2,504 = 4.76 metric tons
- 3,603 rPET* Certified Long Sleeve T-Shirts = 1.08 metric tons
- 4,201 Recycled Sports Towels (Post-Consumer) 0.34 metric tons
- 4,792 rPET* Wash Bags = 0.96 metric tons
- £6,387 worth of ‘Plant a Tree’ donations to the River Dee Trust ‘One Millions Trees’ Project, further supporting our environmental commitment to habitat restoration and climate resilience initiatives = 140.7 metric tons
